Fort Altena

Since 2019, I have been responsible for the teambuilding activities at Fort Altena. Fort Altena, built in 1847 as part of the New Dutch Waterline, has a rich history as a military fortification designed to protect against invasions. Today, it serves as a vibrant location for events and activities, blending historical charm with modern amenities.

With all materials managed in-house, I work closely with the professional team at Fort Altena to organize teambuilding events for groups ranging from 20 to 500 participants. Our activities span from individual challenges like archery and golf workshops to collaborative tasks such as building catapults, the Walking A, and communication games. One of our standout offerings is the self-developed Gladio Games, a highly popular team event.

Each event is supported by a team of highly experienced and professional instructors, ensuring every activity is a resounding success. Whether you’re looking for a fun day out or a serious teambuilding session, we provide tailored experiences that long leave lasting memories.

24-09-05: Erasmus MC – Department Viroscience

This time I had the pleasure of accompanying the annual outing of Erasmus MC – Department of Viroscience on behalf of Fort Altena. What a great fun and enthusiastic group of people together who brought out the best in each other with a healthy dose of competition. As soon as the programme started, the sun started shining, what more could you want at such a beautiful location.

24-06-21: Unforgettable Teambuilding Event for AKD

It seems like a recurring theme this summer: rainy Fridays! But as I always say, “There’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.” 😉

On behalf of Fort Altena, I had the pleasure of organizing another fantastic teambuilding event, this time for the employees of AKD. They certainly didn’t let the weather dampen their spirits! Led by an experienced and enthusiastic team of instructors, AKD had an amazing afternoon during their annual AKDAY.

The day concluded with a delightful dinner and live football on the big screen.

23-05-16: KPN-LCE-connect-day

On behalf of Fort Altena, I had the pleasure of organizing another fantastic team day! Alongside a team of 13 instructors, we guided over 400 KPN employees during the LCE Connect 2023 event at this beautiful location. Blessed with sunny weather and surrounded by stunning nature, the enthusiasm of the participants made this event a great success.

A big thank you to Fort Altena for the booking and the impeccable organization. It was a memorable day that showcased the power of teamwork and the beauty of our surroundings.

22-09-15: Team Day for VINCI Energies at Fort Altena

Today, I had the pleasure of organizing the activities for the team day of VINCI Energies at Fort Altena, on behalf of Fort Altena. With the guidance of our top team, we facilitated several collaborative activities that focused on safety, fun, and teamwork. Over 120 participants engaged in these activities with enthusiasm and a great sense of humor.

The day concluded with a delightful meal, prepared under the supervision of Wout Vereecken on behalf of Fort Altena. It was a memorable event that not only fostered stronger team bonds but also provided an enjoyable and engaging experience for everyone involved.
